Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale VAT Number 01943490027Biography
My scientific background spans various fields. I hold the following degrees:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences
- Master’s degree in Bio-analytical Toxicology
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Bone Tissue Engineering
Expertise
As a PhD student, my research work is focused on the study of bone regeneration. I use 3D bone models that resemble the architecture of bone and a bioreactor that provides mechanical stimuli similar to those present in bone to study how electromagnetic field (EMF) promotes bone healing. The main players in my experiments are mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and endothelial cells (ECs).
