ESB 2010 - the 23rd European Conference on Biomaterials, the annual conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) - will be held on September 11-15, 2010 in Tampere, Finland.
Traditionally ESB conferences attract scientists, medical professionals, manufacturers and marketing professionals from the biomaterials, medical device and pharmaceutical industry. With this in mind, the scientific content of the ESB 2010 conference has been designed to cater to the participants’ diverse needs. ESB 2010 provides an excellent opportunity, especially for young scientists, to meet international professionals, gain valuable experience and become members of this distinguished group.
The scientific program of ESB 2010 includes several plenary and keynote lectures from clinicians as well as industrial sessions/workshops, which are aimed at fostering relationships and forging new contacts among players in the field. The exhibitor event of ESB 2010 is an opportunity to meet first hand leading companies in the field of biomaterials and tissue engineering.
Two of the five conference days of ESB2010 will start with the ESB award lectures (Jean Leray and George Winter), after which there will be parallel breakout sessions. The opening ceremony will be held in the evening of Saturday 11th at Tampere Hall where the city will host a welcome reception for the conference participants.
