The Council is willing to consider applications, to host the ESB conference, from any European Union country. Applications to host the conference must be emailed to the Secretary at least 5 years prior to the actual date of the conference being considered. Points to note:
- The ESB conference only takes place 3 out of every 4 years
- 600 people are usually expected to attend the ESB conference, and the conference centre must therefore have at least one room which can cater for 600+. 4 parallel sessions would be usual.
- The hosting institution is fully responsible for setting the conference budget. Draft delegate rates however, must be presented to the council one year prior to the conference.
